The work was born following a performance made in 2021 in Galatina in Puglia.
Dream of a synthetic body tells of a future where the reproduction of human beings takes place through the hybridisation of these with machines; an attempt to create in/on our own body an autonomous zone of exception, capable of shedding new light on the hidden relationship that links the corporeal with the artificial.
“I am connected to the generator-machine in a kind of cryogenic sleep, with the same fascination as a carcass. I am the generator, without me this machine could not function. This symbiosis will be my grave’.
